The Narragansett Pier Sport fishing
Association is one of Rhode Island's
oldest and premier sport fishing clubs founded in 1968. Members
and perspective members meet on the first Wednesday of every
month at the Narragansett Pier public Library 35 Kingston Road
(between Caswell street and Boon Street) at 7:00 PM. We are
all about about fishing and sharing information among members
who focus on both surf and boat fishing. Monthly seminars are
featured to assist members sharpen their skills and to become
more proficient anglers and develop a strong sense of
camaraderie. The membership
includes a diverse group of dedicated anglers who are among the
elite of striped bass surfcasters, serious offshore tuna and
shark hunters, boat fishing striped bass enthusiasts and the
"best of the best" blackfish and fluke anglers. Several fishing
tournaments and various special events bring out the best of the
members. Many fishing and marine related resources are contained
in this website for everyone's enjoyment, and of course new,
perspective members are encouraged to contact the membership,
and attend a meeting to learn more of what the association is
all about.
Great times and tight lines!
